I have had three inviolable friends in my life. People whom I don't think I can ever lose, deliberately or by chance. Three people I know I can turn to for anything, whom I love unconditionally.
The first is Caleb. Not much needs to be said here. We are greater than the sum of our parts, but we are not what we once were, either. I love him, and always will. It just may never be that romantic love it once was.
The second is Christina. We unleash each others' fun-loving, carefree side, which is difficult, given how stressed and closed we both usually are. She taught me a lot about courage, and I think I taught her the same. BFF, yo. I'd probably die without her.
The third is Ramuel. This rather defies explanation, as I've only known him for barely two weeks. But he knows me better than I know myself, and I am slowly teaching him how to be more true to himself. We spent about six hours last night, breaking down barriers and improving our understanding of each other.
...
And for all you emotionally retarded, shallow, mundane individuals who have no idea what true connection to another human being is, I tell you no, I am not fucking Ramuel. Not that you'll believe me.But I find that the opinions of those who don't understand and still choose to judge don't really matter to me.
So, think what you will.
