Went to a "Animal and Wildlife Photography" workshop. It was not only fun, but very informative. Bob, as usual, taught with humor and had no problem answering questions. Examples shown, and how to's were very good.

Will be putting what we learned to use tomorrow at Caversham Wildlife Park. :)

Just finished up my 5 week study with Pro photographer. So much learned in such a short time! Now it's a matter of putting the instructions and lessons to use.

Also, he will be holding another one for intermediate/advanced. Oh yes, I will be signing up for that one when the time comes.

Brought home a lot of new information, and technique to use with the Canon and Lumix. Even though my Lumix isn't a 'real' DSLR, more like a hybrid, what I am learning applies to it ( Read more... )

I think I have learned more in the 4 hours I have had with him so far, than I have learned in 20 years. It’s not so much not reading the manuals (although I did confess to him I had tried on several occasions to do so, but after reading the same terms over and over, the eyes glaze over and the brain goes numb. I have HOMEWORK!

I'm less confused using the Canon, as I told him that I had tried to read the manual over and over but my eyes would glaze over. He said that is a common problem and complaint about said manuals.
