I took advantage of the first clear night I have had in close to 2 weeks, and did some viewing, and when the moon cleared the gumtree, I dragged out the computer and camera.

I have/had been having problems with Registax barfing out if I tried to stack any more than 50 images.  Considering a 10 seconds avi can produce over 300 FIT files, it makes it a bit difficult to get a good clear stacked image if the program keeps puking ( Read more... )

Well, now I know why my hip was throbbing. You should see the rain clouds overhead.  *sigh*  And here I managed to make a homemade focal reducer so the 'halo/haze' effect would be diminished, and its all ready to use.  *insert adult type of pout here*
