I am getting settled in at college. I have been here two weeks now, and I just finished my first full week of classes. I do not have much homework and, so far, my classes are easy. I am not expecting that to keep up, but I am taking a rather light course load (16 credits).

My metal DDR pads are working once again. Both of them just needed a little soldering. Naturally, I tested them by failing at playing doubles.

Okay, maybe that is a bit extreme.

I was playing DDR, specifically the song "Nothing Gonna Stop (Dancemania Mix)" (145 BPM) on heavy (7), and I missed a double. Not surprising, I never combo on heavy. What I did do, was hit the double as two 16ths in a row, and it actually registered as me hitting it. I know hitting 16ths as doubles is a nice trick ( Read more... )
