It would seem that one of the main generators meant to supply my city with electric juice has gone boom! or poof! or splat! and has stopped working altogether.

What does that mean? Well, that we don't have enough electric power for the entire population. Which means that there are planned electric power cuts every day until they manage to replace it (somewhere around mid-february).

That means that every day, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM and from 2:00 to 5:00 PM I'm out of electric power. Every. Single. Frigging. Day. IN THE SUMMER.

So no computer, no fan, no washing machine, no fridge, no NOTHING for six hours a day.

And we're the third biggest city in the country. How in the blazes did they allow the situation to get this bad?! >_<

ETA: Well, I was wrong. The power cuts didn't reach a total of sich hours today. Instead they totalled nine hours. Yep, like you read it. Nine full hours without electricity. Apparently six wasn't enough, so they scheduled another power cut from 8:30 to 11:30 PM. I... can't even be angry anymore. -_-

stuff, rant, no
