I've been nominated!
Well, as the title says, I've been nominated for a UFO award this year, too! This time it's " Dreams and Realities" the one to be nominated. Thank you so much, whoever nominated me! *huggles anonymous reader*
I was waiting until I'd received an official notification of my nomination, but the UFO team seem to have a lot on their hands and haven't got around to sending them yet... anyway, I wasn't going to keep waiting to share my squees with you. ^___^
And what are these UFO awards, anyway? Well, every year, people nominate their favourite stories of any fandom, and those stories then become elligible for a UFO award. Those nominations have to go through several stages before you can vote for them, but basically anyone can nominate... as long as you don't nominate yourself, of course. ;)
The good thing is, they've got all these stories listed, so it also works as a rec page of sorts. There are amazing stories in there, so it might be worth a look.
Also, it would be great if you can nominate a story or second one that has already been nominated; some categories, One Piece, Torchwood and Doctor Who in particular, seem to need a bit of help from the fans.
You can even nominate stories for fandoms that aren't on the list yet; as long as it's not RPF or original fiction, they accept every fandom requested. :)
I'll tell you all when the voting stage begins! If you've read and liked "Dreams and Realities", I hope you can consider me for a vote. :3
