After the school program, we decided we should atleast take up the Forest Dept Safari.While we were getting back from school, we saw the Flameback Woodpecker very closely pecking on a couple of trees. Was off to Turahalli yesterday morning along with Chandan,deponti,Mahesh and Mohan. Its a small rocky hill just a few kms off Kanakpura road. We managed to reach the place by 6 am and were lucky enough to catch the sunrise.
