Finally got to watch the awesome play “Ratnan Prapancha” at Rangshankara yesterday. It had been a long time since I watched a Kannada play at RS. I was amazed by the turnout , it was almost houseful full. I am impressed by the efforts put in by Rangashankara to promote Kannada and Company theatre.

Watched Bhikre Bimb today at Rangashankara. Easily one of the best plays I have every watched. Arundhati Nag was brilliant. Fantastic presence of mind and command over the language. I won’t be able to find the right words to describe her performance in the play.

Watched an horrible play called "PUSHED". The play did achieve it purpose, it pushed a lot of people into boredom, some into sleep and quite a few out of the hall. I watched 2 amazing plays in October at Rangashankara. One was the Korean Play Choong Hyang which was a children play. The play had about 24 cute kids in different roles. While travelling in the Suvarna Bus (yeah,was lucky) this morning, I overheard two BMTC drivers talking to each other which reflected their proudness in working for BMTC. I felt so good as a passenger. Suvarna works a lot better for me.. I don;t need volvos for short distance commutes.

So when we heard about a new play being staged, I was pretty excited even though it was a Tamil play and I understand nothing in that language.
