So when we heard about a new play being staged, I was pretty excited even though it was a Tamil play and I understand nothing in that language. I'm loving bangalore winter. Its so beautiful. The chilly mornings, the cloudy sky,the flowered trees, the half moist roads.. ah lost for words :-)

I walked up to a friends place just to enjoy all of it this morning. Completely sets my mood for the day :-)

Had a wonderful birding session at Lalbagh this morning with deponti,birdonthewire,Mahesh,wild_guy and Jaimone. And we had some lovely sightings of Ashy Drongo,Golden Oriole,the 2 Spotted Owlets (affectionately called Sainath's Spotted Owlets .. SSOs) and also the 2 Mottled Wood Owls (Yes,Yes.. the ones which we desperately wanted to see) along with the other common ones.

Yes, that was how my evening was spent.Thanks to deponti for all of that.After some superb baitu coffee, we walked to Rangashankara to watch the new children' play The First Leaf.About the play, it was quite good and inspite of being lengthy,the kids around totally enjoyed it.Now looking forward for the next set of plays in December.. hopefully not any ( Read more... )

Finally some amazing wildlifing after a long time. This time it was at Maidenahalli with deponti,sainath,shivakumar-l and Arvind. Amazing Blackbuck sightings and birding too. Will post a detailed report later. Thanks guys. It was great fun with all that humor :D

Yesterday I was at Rangashankara for the play "Creeper". It was an experimental theatre nad it was quite okay even bought a lot of us couldn't actually connect the different sequences. But yeah, everyone was Wowed by the performance of the actors.
