So what smartass answers do you give to people when they ask if anthropology is, "The one where you dig up dinosaurs/bones/pots/etc."? :-)
This is a real post besides that. I was wondering about taking a statistics course next semester. At Penn State, I need to take STAT 200. There is a lower one which is STAT 100 but I'll be going to the main campus next year and I really don't want to take a math up there. I can take 200 now because I've taken two algebra courses. What do you guys think? Get rid of the required gen ed type things now or go about it slowly and learn the basics?
