I usually suggest that those who ask stupid questions of any kind try opening a book before they open their mouths next time.

I don't think stat is generally required of anthropology students so you could probably take whichever works in your schedule better. Plus if you get it out of the way now you'd have more time to focus on classes within your major.

I had someone ask me once if anthropology was "the thing with all the stars and stuff"? No, it's not same as astronomy...

take stats! if you plan on going to grad school you'll need it so do it just to be safe. besides, it's also a good thing to know in general.

We were required to take stats...

It's only taught me I need to hire a grad student when the time comes...

ha, they refer to me as like the girl on tv... only I hate that b/c we all know that 'Bones' is no where close to a real osteo lab and crimes can't be solved in an hour...

statistics 201 at my school is a more in-depth version of 101, a substitute rather than the next course in the sequence. 201 might give you a deeper background, plus get your gen ed out of the way, so i'd go for that if i were you rather than taking 2 stat courses. i'm already finding my 101 course really useful in my anthropology classes, though.
