Found out that gamer and all around great and super-nice guy Hal Haag died from a heart attack on August 12th.

This is right after Worldcon.

Hal was the first person at BSFS to be actively supportive of larps at Balticon (this is way back in the mid-1980s).  ( Read more... )

Well, just got the grades posted for the other class!  It is done!  I was worried about the amount of time left in the universe to complete it, but somehow managed to finish it all late Friday night/early Saturday a.m. (with help from doubleplus on the math).
