Back from Melbourne, where I went so a friend could help me pattern and cut out my invest dress. Turns out, after we left on Monday (had originally planned to leave Sunday but it got too late) her boyfriend proposed - fabulous! More renovating finds today. We pulled a sheet of mdf off of a door today to find underneath it's a beautiful cedar wood panelled door, similar to all the other doors in the house without fifty layers of paint ( Read more... )

but today Digby discovered a fabulous new invention - the tennis ball. You bounce on it, it bounces back, you push and it moves in intereesting and sometimes unexpected ways, you give it to someone and they make it bounce or go far away so you can chase it OR you can take it someone but not actually give it to them and then you can wrestle ( Read more... )
