So today was the 10th anniversary of my father's death from Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. In some ways, it feels like such a long time; in other ways, it still feels like I last spoke to him only a few days ago.

My darling LionOak has set me a challenge, a sort of quest for creativity: in one year and one day, I'm to write and post on LiveJournal at least 100 complete pieces. Jetlagged and woozy, but home safe and sound. And only 6 more weeks until I see my LionOak again! Much less distressing to leave him when I have a clear cut (and not too distant) date to see him again!
