I have my History exam first thing Monday morning. This has led to several things.
I did not go out today. I worked. I now have lots and lots of notes on German Unification. My plan for tomorrow is to finish these notes (which are to cover the entirety of my syllabus) and then transcribe them onto postcards and read them again afterwards. And then, if I have time, maybe write postcards.
In my breaks I read my flist, poked Facebook, fiddled with the rain poem that I started on Wednesday and may or may not end up on
upstroke_glyphs when I have finished this, typed up a poem that I had written in school whilst bored in lessons that was supposed to follow the plan that I had set for Occam's Razor gives me nosebleeds and didn't quite work, and ended up finding that what I had thought was only the first two-thirds of the poem actually worked rather well on its own (and would work even better if I did this...) and discovered that although it didn't actually get to the thing that originally it was supposed to, it did work rather nicely and suprisingly seemed to be a complete entity (so I might put that one up instead); I also helped sisterkin with her art project, answered the doorbell and ate some food.
I should point out that the postcards mentioned above will be postcards with revision noted written on them. Le duh...

The doorbell-answering incident was really a rather nice one. Yesterday, I phoned Orange (with whom I have a contract) to tell them that my phone was broken ask them what they were going to do about it. Compared to the last time I had to deal with them, they were really utterly fantastic. The music they played whilst I was waiting was by Razorlight and The Fratellis, and they were, on the whole, pretty efficient. I spoke to a lovely lady called Grace who asked me lots of questions about what was wrong with my phone, and then sent a man around today with a new one, which I am now using. I am very impressed.

I have not been getting masses of sleep recently, and sleep patterns are odd things. As I have an exam at nine o'clock on Monday morning, I thought that a large quantity of sleep would be a sensible thing to procure on the black market, so, when I felt very drowsy at around eight o'clock yesterday evening, I decided to go to bed. I managed to get to sleep fairly quickly, despite the fact that it was still light, mostly because I got in to bed before my cicardian rhythm work me up again and because I did something that I did when trying to sleep in rooms in which other people were using the lights whilst on tour and tied a bandana around my eyes so that it was dark. I got a good twelve hours of sleep, which will have hopefully put quite a dent in my accumalated sleep debt. Excelent.

I've missed Eurovision, probably; certainly I didn't watch it. I don't enjoy it particularly, usually, because the music is always rubbish, but I do love Terry Wogan's comentary. That man is snark in a jar, bless 'im.

Yeah, sorry for the rubbish tag lines. Also, that poem will be up tomorrow, not today. Night.
