[8 ℃ is close enough for him. That's 46 ℉ which is only 14 ℉ away from being 32 ℉ or only 8 ℃ away from being 0 ℃. The colder the better to be honest because even a few degrees lesser in the air there is the potential for it to happen--and if the conditions where right it could happen that very day. While Denmark was not savvy in the environmental

But this weather means her laundry is going to be soddy.
She draws her shawl closer to herself as she walks to the courtyard, basket in hand. There's a man in the distance whom she doesn't recognize from afar, doing something she finds rather strange. ]
Hello?
[ She calls, and upon approaching him realizing she has met him before. ]
Mister Denmark? What are you doing?

Not noticing--at first--who the figure was, he pursed his lips and waited for a moment before replying, recognizing the face and brightening his expression upon her approach]
Ah! Sophie! Hello, hello.
[He smiled brightly, happy for the company.]
I am--ah, well--waiting, you see? It's cold out!
Reply
Waiting? For snow?
[ That would be a reasonable thing to expect, with the way the weather is. ]
I don't think it's quite cold enough yet.

Perhaps! But only a few more degrees downward and there is the chance! Well--if you consider dew-point 'n all that, but 'm no meteorologist.
[Leaning back away from the window for a moment, his hands still on the cool glass beneath, he focused his attention on the woman there, knowing the weather would still shift onward without his eyes upon it]
You're up early, Sophie--are you well?

Only...Sweden knew his fellow nation well enough to know that things would get no better if left to his own devices. So while most would want immediate praise for things like Kleenex by the bed or the bigger glass of orange juice in the morning? Sweden was perfectly with it all being completely passed over. Otherwise Denmark might get crazy ideas in his head about Sweden actually caring. Who needed that?
This morning however would prove a bit difficult as breakfast would have to be handed over face-to-face. Things were so much easier when the food just disappeared without words having to be exchanged or intents acknowledged. The first step, however, was finding out where the heck Denmark had gone]

All that aside, Sweden made his way up to the already occupied window and took a spot next to his roommate, silently observing the scene.]

Ah! Sweden!
[The laugh carried as he smiled in a sly manner before leaning closer, uncertain why the other nordic was there but not complaining for the company he had come into recently, the companionship better than the loneliness of the room before. Even if Sweden was prone to nitpicking.]
Trying to scare me, I see--well! Once again your plan has failed you.

So, in search of just exactly where he would be staying in this strange and bleak world, he refused to admit that he was anything of the sort.
Because he wasn't.
Because that would be silly.
He was merely exploring! He'd find the living quarters soon enough and it didn't matter that he was tired and perhaps a bit stressed out with the news and the state of this place, the promise of it infecting his own world, and he didn't want to have a lie down, certainly not! That could wait, because right now he was exploring and not lost!
England sighed, slowing his step and looking around. There were people but not anyone he recognized and then, just then, England realised he was ( ... )

The face and voice where familiar immediately, and it caused the perplexed look to wipe off his features and a smile to replace them, brightening up the mild seriousness he had been holding. Turning his body, he faced the other nation and laughed softly as if pleased to see him standing there, as if expecting it as slowly but surely, they where numbering up one by one.]
Ah! England! I thought the room got stuffier--
[He joked with a playful wink]
When did you get here?

English.]
Just this morning. Have you been here long? I don't believe I noticed your absence back home.
Reply
A while, actually! Much longer than you--but I suppose yah don't normally pay much attention northward, do yah?
[The latter was a joke, of course, but his tone held it's normal tone. For the nations around him, it was what how they came to understand his personality on their own terms and Denmark was not going to make it easy for them, certainly.]

Something special? Well! Just the weather bein' a little bizarre and the fact it's gettin' colder. See the clouds?
[He turned back to look through the window panes, watching the horizon with small tilt to his head, obviously excited the way his tone shifted and how he focused on the outside. It was something that was familiar and perhaps he was missing home more than he let on, but that was simply the thing to do, looking forward to finding that factor of coziness in this new ( ... )

He's not sick, he's just cold. A kid who grows up on an island does not usually see temperatures of 8 ℃. So this is... difficult.
A little grumble escapes his throat. He's forgotten his shirt, it seems; or rather, he simply slept (or rather, laid in bed for hours) without it. To combat this, he's simply wrapped himself up in the blanket from his bed, using it as a sort of cloak. Honestly, he's been wandering the halls for hours, too.
So it's not surprising he stumbles upon Denmark, stepping up beside him to peer out of the window.] What are you looking at...?

He looked Scandinavian enough, with his paler features and that hair, almost like Iceland--well, almost. So with a pause he inspected the nearby figure, primarily noting his improve-cloak, the idea of it bringing a small smile to his lips which soon blossomed into something of a full grin. He was pleased to see people he had never met before, pleased for the company even at the earlier hour.
Turning, he regarded the unfamiliar face then looked back out the window, humming quietly before replying in good humor amongst the congestion of his sinuses.]
They sky! It's kinda hidden, yah see? But maybe since the weather's droppin' and the clouds are buildin' there might be a chance for some colder weather.
Reply
He settled against the window, shivering as the glass cooled his back through the blanket.] What are you hoping to see? It's so cold...

Snow, of course! Even in a place like this, it should be possible-- weather is natural, no matter the surroundings.
[Granted, the pale-haired figure didn't look like one to appreciate the cold weather the way he was wrapped up. It was alright though, not everyone came from colder climates and well--Denmark was not too fond of extreme heat, so he understood the reverse effect.]
