Garden mania plus shopping questions for the brave...

Another gorgeous Lowcountry Spring day.
l made a run to Lowe's and got my compost for the first bed of the garden.  Found some old cinder blocks which, placed in the corners of the bed and filled with soil and compost, made nice little containers for the herbs:  trailing rosemary, white sage, and spicy oregano.  l still have room for one more this year.  Recommendations?
Put in the 6 heirloom tomatoes.  Made sure the one is backed up to the fence, since l know this old variety likes to sprawl and can get huge!  Like 8 to 10' tall! The fence will make a good support for that growth and weight.  Put three sugar baby watermelons between the two rows of tomatoes.  Tomorrow l fill the second bed. Peppers...6 of them also. Three heirloom varieties and 3 banana peppers.  Will put my heirloom black zucchinis between their rows. Then potatoes at the far end where they will be easy to hill in, kale, spinach, salad greens, radishes, garlic and onions.  Sugar snap peas will have to wait till the fall planting season.
Maybe a nice pot of nasturtiums for color...and because they are yummy.

Also got my lovely lemon tree!  Very excited to get it planted tomorrow.  l have just the right spot selected.  A SW exposure protected by the house on the north and east.  And right in front of the teenager's bedroom window where the lovely flowers can perfume her room...and the tree make serendipitous exits, shall we say... a thorny problem?

My final task while out was to check prices on some garden storage sheds.  l prefer the Rubbermaid ones, which look much easier to assemble (since l must do it myself) and come complete with floors.  Not a cheap item to be sure, but well worth the cost to have a place for my mower (when we get one), grill (ditto), and tools...not to mention a place to store the items we no longer have an attic to keep them in.  This will decidedly be a purchase for after l get a job!

Next up... another laptop.  New or used.  Whatever l can find and afford. Have to figure out exactly what l 'need'... mostly speed and storage space for writing, right? l don't play games, save hundreds of photos, or watch movies... so really a good word processor and the ability to do research and a version of Word that actually works should be all l really need?
Suggestions welcome!
