Belatedly Bringing In The New Year
10:58pm: Whoops, I meant to update on the New Year and actually thought I had...but clearly not.
Of course, as previously mentioned I'm at a loss of what to write in this entries these days.
Although, there has been a bit of excitement this past week, what with my big bro and his family being in town and also some sheninigans at the library with the the air conditioner breaking down. As you can imagine in the middle of summer this is quite a problem, especially since the last time this happened it took weeks to fix.
Thankfully, the part arrived yesterday, just in time for this weekend, and damn am I relieved because tomorrow it's meant to be 38 degrees C! There was talk that we might need to close the library if it became too stuffy and hot in there. Although considering my Granny Flat isn't insulated I'm not too sure I'd find much relief back home either! I guess I'd just go to my parents house in that case, although I'm all ready here for my usual Saturday night, even though Mum's friend is here too so it's a bit crowded. We've been watching the Hopman Cup where the Swiss - led by the Fed-Ex have just won! Hooraaay! He's about to recieve a gold and diamond studded tennis ball along with the trophy. Yaaay! Although, credit is also due to the lady of the Swiss team of course, Belinda Bencic, most exciting!
So yeah...I better go and concentrate on that big moment! Plus I've run out of anything interesting to say LOL :OP
Although I didn't write much about my big bro and his family's visit! Ah well, next time.
