So We're Doing This Weekly Now?
10:57pm: My posting that is...man, I remember when I used to update every day! What happened? I mean it's not as if my life was more exciting back then, if anything it was more boring because I didn't have a job half the time.
Anyway, I'm feeling weird because in a little less than two weeks I'm turning thirty-four.
THIRTY-FOUR
That's the age Marge Simpson was when The Simpsons started! (I think that's since changed, but whatever) I'm also nearly in my mid-thirties, and that's just scary. I don't have a life plan, I don't know where I'm going, where I want to end up, what I'm going to do in the future!
My main concern, as ever, is what happens when...knock on wood...my parental units are no longer around - next year they'll be gone for six months on a big overseas trip, but I mean in a more permanent manner. Like...I can't imagine it, who will I hang out with? Who will I tell my problems to?
But at the same time, I can't see myself in a relationship, like...that's just not me. Also, it just wouldn't be the same, there's nothing like having your parents around. :O( I have actually brought this up to my psychiatrist, but his advice is to not focus on it, which seems unhelpful, but there's not much else he can say. 'Cause that's life and all that.
What else to report? Well, my spacebar is acting weird, like I have to tap it rather hard to get spaces...I hope it's just temporary, because otherwise I'll have to take it to a computer shop, because no way am I going to try and fix it like I did with my last laptop...I had to pay to get a whole new keyboard put in!
I did have something else to say, but I got distracted and now I'm totally forgotten what it was. Scratches head.
Well, I better wrap this up then, because I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep this week and that's just not on, I certainly don't want to end up making this a long-term habit. I'm the sort of person who need their zzzs, otherwise I'm more forgetful than usual! Shock! Horror!
Also I have to go the bathroom, LOL.

PS Oh wait I remembered what I was going to write about, I was going to head to the Mall today to look for the new Simpsons Season 18 DVD, but when I got back from the gym a firetruck was blocking the end of the road! I have no idea why it was there, and I have now realised I could have gone around it without too much trouble, via a back road, but yeah.
I wonder if they'll be anything in the local paper about it tomorrow...I didn't see any smoke so it was a very curious incident indeed.
