THERE. My laptop is miiiiiine complete with all its programs and preferences and desktop and everything set up. YAY now I can actually use it :D

Setting up a new computer is SO BORING. Took about 2 hours to get the internet/network/general connectivity working, another... 3 or 4 to do all the freeware, moved onto cracks about two hours ago and so far have just downloaded Photoshop CS4. Laptop status has been moved along to the second-last step of "with local carrier," the next step being "delivered." This means it's in Adelaide. The eta has, however, been pushed out to Tuesday.
