TV journal
Been inundated with ballroom dancing last night and tonight, and loving it! Some very good Dancing Stars this year, and some not so good but fun to watch.
Been resorting to the videotape regularly: taped Sarah Connor and Heroes last night in favor of Dancing. Taped Fringe and The Shield tonight for Dancing, and taping Eureka at midnight. At least it's the final ep of Eureka's short season, so that simplifies things a bit. Passed on the premiere of The Mentalist, but it's on CBS's schedule for early Friday night before the presidential candidates' debate, so we can pick it up then.
The premiere of Supernatural was great last week! Dean is back and there's a new character who is an angel. Ironically, Dean, who fights demons all the time, declared he doesn't believe in angels!
Sarah Connor is keeping up the excitement. Caught up with the video tape tonight. Some pretty good action and angst. The bad terminator went off the Santa Monica pier with John, and sank like a stone. But Himself's prediction that he'd just walk up out of the sea was indeed fulfilled by the end of the hour. Glad I didn't bet him a nickel on that one.
Enjoying Fringe, my favorite character is old Dr. Bishop. He's got an interesting view of the world being a super genius and just coming out of the mental ward after 17 years. Very drolly played black humor there. Can't wait to see who they pull out as the evil genius who was Bishop's apprentice and now runs a mysterious multinational corporation. Mwahahaha! We have only heard his name so far, but it will be a great part for someone like Dennis Hopper, eh? Maybe during November sweeps?
