Happy Halloween!
I have all my candy baskets ready for the little ghouls I hope will show up - otherwise The Spousal Unit takes a lot of it to work. The Boy will be at work tonight, where the store is also open for trick or treaters. I wonder how many they'll get?
The Book of Mormon was a total hoot! And, unbeknown to me beforehand, quite literally made for a run in Orlando given how much of the show is riffing on our lovely Theme Park Central. All of it completely deserved. ;)
Our seats were very good, better than I expected. And we had a good crowd of people around us. You definitely have to know what you're in for with this play, and if you're easily offended, stay home. From what TSU heard, season ticket holders had to be given the option of being refunded for this one play because of the subject matter. Apparently they had received some complaints. Stodgy farts.
Obviously all tickets returned were instantly snapped up, because the play is sold out for every performance.
I wish the weather was cooler for the day, but I guess it could be worse and we could be getting that monster Halloween storm hitting the central part of the country, and spilling into some of the northeast. At least we're dry and sunny here.
