You've got to love using the library on-line!
I recently got my library card and found out that the main library has a big stash of manga! I brought home a whole bunch the other day (Train_Man was very funny). The trouble was that so many volume ones and such not were checked out. Still there is a way around this. The on-line catalog will let me request a book once it gets checked in. In fact I can request up to 20 books. So I filled out 20 requests and guess what I just got! An email telling me 10 of them are now ready to be picked up! Oh yeah! This is too good!
Sure I could go down to the local books stores and read them for free like everyone else seems to do. Its just I hate that about the book stores. They are not libraries and I wish people would not treat them as such. The books are always mangled up, which makes it hard to find a copy to purchase. It really has ruined book shopping for me over the last few years. It just smacks of all this self entitlement that people seem to be wallowing in these days. That and a complete lack of respect for other people. (the rant ends here)
Anyway, once I drag myself down to the main library I will have the start of 3 new series:
Someday's Dreamers : volumes 1-3
Anima : volumes 1-3
Comic Party: volumes 1-4
