You've got to love using the library on-line!

I recently got my library card and found out that the main library has a big stash of manga! I brought home a whole bunch the other day (Train_Man was very funny). The trouble was that so many volume ones and such not were checked out. Still there is a way around this. The on-line catalog will let me request a book once it gets checked in. In

It doesn't help that bookstores installed comfy chairs and tables at which people could sit and read. I never quite understood why those things were put in. Perhaps they thought that having people in the store was better, even lingering ones. I rarely understand the way corporations think.

Yeah, they made it more comfortable for people to browse and all people did was turn it into a reading library. I saw a small boy unwrap a sealed manga book and drop the plastic wrap on the floor and walk off with the book to read it. Same kid couldn't figure out how to re-shelve a book a few minutes earlier so he put it next to a series of books that had the same color dust jacket. Sigh!

What's more baffling to me is why they kept the things in their stores.
