One of my favorite musicals of late ...
Last night I was in the mood for something funny that I could sing along and quote along with. So of course I opted for one of my favorite musicals, The Producers. I love this movie and would dearly love to someday see the play on stage. It always makes me smile. I am a big fan of Nathan Lane and Mathew Broderick entertains me most days (apparently he entertains 25 years girls while his wife is filming crappy movies as well!). The songs are all memorable, the pace is snappy, the characters are hilarious and Will Ferrel is way out there! KEY CHANGE! :)
If you haven't seen this film you really should. The original (non-musical) movie was funny, but this is in a league above it. Be sure to watch the extras for the wonderful "King of Broadway" number that was cut from the film and the ever funny outtakes.
