OK, so dad's finally home from the hospital. He came home about a week and a half ago, and his energy level is sort of going up and down. He's still sleeping a lot, but hes had the energy to go out to dinner for the last 3 nights. This is good ( Read more... )

So, while I completely expected my dad to be frustrated and cranky during this transplant, I did not expect him to tell me he was going to break my wrist for trying to help him do something.

I understand that he feels like shit and that he's frustrated. And he was sorry after he said it.

Still hurt.

So, Oliver! is over FINALLY. As much as I loved that production (and I really did... the kids were great, the other actors were amazing and sweet as hell, and the play was fantastic), I'm glad it's over and i don't have to be there ALL THE TIME ( Read more... )

So a lot has been going on recently. the biggest thing is what's up with my dad. about a month ago, he was diagnosed with cancer. specifically, lymphoma. It isn't the incredibly fast-moving type, but it isn't the slow one either. It's somewhere in between.
