Happy March 25th, everyone! The most significant date in Tolkiendom.

So Tuesday Night is Date Night at the Dollar Theater. But now we play D&D on Tuesdays, so Monday Night is Date Night! And the second Hobbit movie was finally flat enough and cheap enough for us to go see. WOOHOO!

A many years ago, a friend of mine leveled the criticism at the Lord of the Rings that lots and lots of people get corrupted (Saruman, Gollum, Denethor, Boromir, Lotho Sackville-Baggins, etc) but nobody ever gets redeemed. Today has been a good day. We stayed up until the quite large hours of the morning playing Order of the Stick at the CABS general meeting last night, and then, as they say, "came home, went to bed, and didn't get up until the next morning."
