I made a new icon to use when I write about art. I wanted to post a little announcement to welcome the new icon to my journal, because I'm that kind of nerd.

It would be cool if I had some new art to add to this post, but I don't, so instead I'll include an old image that you may or may not have seen before that I think says it all.

I'm trying out a new User Pic. I have two versions, one cropped closer, one cropped out further. Not sure which I prefer. I have the closer one set as default and for this post I specified the further version to see how they look.

My mom saw my "old" icon with the lantern that just so happened to cover my head perfectly. She likes to see deeper meaning in EVERYTHING, so she kept mentioning, "you know, it's a cute picture, but I keep thinking about it, and it seems to me that it represents how you are hiding yourself away from the world.
