So Much Snow
We have gotten at least 3 feet of snow I think. Although I imagine that anything over 2 feet is like, "OMG WE GOT LIKE 50 KAJILLION FEET OF SNOW IT'S GOING TO SWALLOW UP OUR HOUSE", so the 3 feet is just a rough estimate. It might be closer to 20.
I am grateful to be snowed in with my mom because she likes to play scrabble and so do I. We've played 5 times already.
I have shoveled 3 times. The shoveling I did last night was completely useless. I literally cried out, "oh come ON!" when I saw that the snow was smooth and several feet deep in front of the door. I had wanted to keep a little path clear for the dogs. They suffer from cabin fever more than anyone I know. So I went out 2 more times and shoveled out the area. The snow around it is so deep that it looks like a really cool fort. I should make some chairs out of snow and sit out there and chill for a while. Har har. I'll probably shovel a couple more times tonight, but we'll see how it goes. I honestly don't know how or if we are going to get the driveway shoveled out, not to mention digging out my car. It's a lot of snow.
