Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so much stuff to do, so little time. Meaning I shouldn't be making this post, but isn't that the way of Livejournal, to spend time whining on LJ how you have no time.
Anyway, I'm heading off to L.A. tomorrow to stalk Damian Lewis and I still have to pack and pick out clothes, and urgh. I'm so behind on comments and emails. I accomplished a lot of slacking off yesterday though. Hooked my sister on Life. Rewatched the pilot for The Mentalist, and appreciated it more this time around, though it doesn't change my opinion that as of right now, it's carried by Simon Baker's charm. Granted, his charm is considerable, but the supporting characters, man. Life has spoiled me for rich textured supporting characters. I also rewatched a little of Land of the Dead, and yeah, doesn't change my opinion that it really is one of the least of the zombie movies I've seen. Definitely not one of my fave Simon Baker roles either. His character is so aloof and distant and generic, and Baker tries, I think, but it doesn't play to his strengths as an actor. Could've been just about anybody else playing the same role.
I am also pleased to report that I have converted yesdrizella to the hotness of Simon Baker:
He looks like he was genetically created to play an angel.

I was a little too ridiculously pleased by that scene in the pilot for The Mentalist where Patrick Jane stayed up all night, and his hair was squeefully messy. LET THE CURLS FREE. Knowing the power of his curls from Smith? Yeah. I know Patrick is a little more kempt than Jeff, but still. MOAR CURLS
I am getting progressively closer toward shamelessly pimping Smith, despite my previous hesitation about pimping a canned show without proper closure. BECAUSE I LOVE IT JUST THAT MUCH.
Anyway, bleh, I need to get back to packing. It shouldn't be so damn hard to pack for a two day trip. I'm usually really good at this. But I have to pick out presentable clothes for stalking Damian Lewis which is hard shit. I'm really glad I got to see the pre-air for the S2 premiere of Life though, because I would've been pissed if I had to miss it. All kidding about stalking aside, I'm heading down for a family thing. It would actually be nice if I had the time to go stalking, but alas, I don't. Anyway.
Life Season Two Premieres TOMORROW, September 29th, following Heroes!!! WATCH IT!!!
