It's a lowercase "æ" (sort of my lj-name's initials), slightly altered for symmetry over a 180º rotation (modulo my drawing/carving skills). Then a circle around that, so it looks sort of like a wax-seal.

To carve it, I

• drew it in pencil on paper
• smooshed Mastercarve over the paper to transfer the design

Okay, after some pencil-editting madness, I gave up on the dithered version of the shrunken 15x15 puzzle grid. I then tried just cropping portions of it to create icons. A partial crossword grid is the only icon ever to look worse with a border.

Edit: New icon made by skutir has been uploaded, correctly replacing the previous one with same keywords.

gragathaz said he might like me to bake cookies sometime. Proper cookies, not the brownie-shaped ones I'd make if all else were equal. I told him to buy me a cookie scoop as incentive. I think I have just learned how to add a simple border to an icon, using Photoshop. Now, however, I wanna go back and borderfy all my recent new icons. Which means editating the posts again to show the icons (and paying attention to which was what, beforehand)... Huy.

I was finally able to dial-up today at about noon. Since then, I've spent the time hyperlinking, posting, backdating, un-backdating, uploading two new (gaming) user icons, updating the posts to show the icons, and de-privatising the posts. We made it to the extra-long twelve-hour Friday Night Games at Drexoll, only about an hour before they'd've normally begun. We went today because our anime club meeting was cancelled due to the holiday (Canada Day).
