Hello again.
Reality Lately - last week, prior to 20th aug
Wednesday:
SL until downtime. Grocery shopping & Subway sandwich. SL building class. Sudden Busker-Festival invite from local pals. Exhaustion: too much energy. Wanted to watch TV but easiest show to grab was Muppets. Vetoed because of performance-watching exhaustion.
Thursday:
Slept anxiously. Stayed out of SL, as too exhausting. Read entire archive of webcomic (Smithson). Added Griddle (Boggle) application to Facebook; earned points.
Friday:
Dal'-derived BBQ tonight. Before that, want to get some "photoshoppery" done for SL item selling. Seem to have lost Photoshop and backups. Can't save in Pixelmator ß; emailed bug-report. Moved closet-obstructing items. Searched closet. Found backups-binder; copied from disk. Missing a pref-file but otherwise working.
(In the meantime, have been to mostly-veg BBQ potluck, market coöp, ice-cream on waterfront, no D&D, Tuesday beers, more Wednesday SL downtime, MSc defense. Oh, and this week there was a surprise-to-me fire-drill (the note slid to the side from under our door), which I covered my head with the blanket during, causing them to come in my apartment without my having cleaned first, for checking the bleepers.)
Friday again, i.e. today:
Paying online bills, and once again correcting the phone numbers they have for me, so my poor mother doesn't get the semi-regular dunning calls of concern.
