Gregg Shorthand Seems Phonetic
I was looking at a "manual of common words" that was lying around, yesterday.
I don't just mean that you spell homophones the same. I mean articulatory phonetics, at least a little? If you look at the shapes, it's a "mountain curve" for K/G, a flat line for M, and a relatively teeny vowel-loop for "E". Wikipedia and Omniglot say nothing about this. Maybe I'm imagining it, but it seemed mnemonic to me at least.
