Three absolutely random observations from a trip to Borders:
1. There is a book called The Idiot's Guide to the Crusades. This amuses me far too much.
2. There is also a CD called The Most Frightening Music in the Universe. And yet it contains not a single track by Britney Spears. Why is this, I ask you?
3. The CD I bought (not the frightening music one) has no less than three English Renaissance songs with references to squirrels in their titles. I had no idea that Elizabethan England had such a rich repertoire of squirrel-related music.
On an unrelated note, we appear to be having a big-ass thunderstorm this afternoon. How delightful. (Actually, it is kind of nice, as it means it's cooling down -- it's been awfully hot.)
