Hey all, just a wee notice to say a few things before I officially vanish off the face of the internet for teh next month or so. Zelda is awesome and always shall be (although the re-incarnated water temple is being a right bitch, not that this should have been unexpected... am greatly distressed at lack of dark alter-ego-looky things outside a few seconds of cut scene though. Frog Boss = Pathetic and Unworthy of inhabiting a water temple). Moving was quick and efficient for me, long , stressful, and painful for Robert, mainly because I suspect he's never had to do a move of this magnitude on his own before. In any case, no casualties (asie from Rob's sanity) were had while shipping out of dorm.
Christmas tree has been bought, put up, lighted, tinseled and decorated, much to the distress of various aspects of my life (namely my grandmother because some apparently vital decorations have walked off). Power is back on in the illustrious Pacific Northwest (the wind from that storm was rattling on my window on Thursday morning). It was below zero at some point this morning and I expect I will be spending vast amounts of the next month asleep under a large amount of blankets and suchlike.
I am also putting myself on official hiatus from teh internet at large untill around Jan 18th or so. Timmy, sorry I couldn't get those clips out to you earlier, I was busy procrastinating and lavishing attention on my Gamecube (Epona is Love!! <3) and it don't look like you'll get 'em anytime soon (but I swear on Matthew's oathpaper you will get them!!). As far as the Escaflowne stuff... I have some movie clips but I'm not sure if I've got anything else, though I may have just re-arranged it. Donraj... I don't think D&D is going anywhere soon for a while (deepest apologies most illustrious of Cajuns! *bows*)... I do seem to have copies of msn convos about character stats on this ancient old machine here though so I'll probably be able to re-construct Dan's character sheet with fair accuracy. Also, can I have some exact dates and times for picking you up when you get here? Anyone else... well... I'm working with a machine that's at least five years old and needs to boot up in safe mode first along with a dial-up connection worse than the machine. Most I'm gonna be doing for a while is e-mail and fanfic reading.
Also, Nii-san called tonight. He was very distressed that GameStop has ceased carrying PS One Games, he very much wanted a working copy of FF IX (I am distressed too... shall I now go through the rest of my life and never personally experience Seifer's original assholishness? ;-;) but I think he did go ahead and pick us up a copy of FF XII so I shall have another pretty blonde to fangirl over shortly. And, for the record, I am having a wonderful resurgence of Zelda fangirlism, and even though it isn't OoT, I am still a Shiek fangirl! Gender-bending weirdness and all. xD I won't say anything more because that will jinx everything.
