(no subject)
Patty had to work late so we didn't make it in time for the movie. But I still got to pick up my precious! ^-^ It's shiny and glossy and I get to break it in tomorrow because Bill (Robert's roommate) has gone home but left his PS2 and TV behind along with permission for me to use 'em!! Gleegleeglee!! =] So, that is what I will be doing tomorrow: breaking in my wonderful new Zelda and doing my best to turn Robert to the J&D side. x3
We went to B&N too, Patty picked up a couple books and I got some manga and a couple CDs. They didn't seem to have any albums I had on my list so I picked up a couple Our Lady Peace albums (Spiritual Machines and Happiness... ), since I quite like the band and the style and didn't have very much of them before. Am quite pleased with them so far.
As far as manga goes, picked up Death Note volume 8 (because I need to see someone die as payback for L, not because I have any interest in the plot or could give a rats ass who does what! I miss my cute, neurotic, sugar-loving genius!) and randomly picked up the first volume of Legal Drug. Not quite sure whether to salivate or stare in horror... o.o
And I thought there was blatant symbolism in X/1999... here it's just plain blatant! Doesn't even bother with symbolism!
I quite like it so far, Kaza is shaping up to be quite the wonderful little pouter. But it does read distressingly fast... very pretty and all but I just zipped through it like some sort of super-charged gecko...
Still... light and airy and mostly plotless... should make decent reading once I go back and buy the rest...
Also Timmy, any other vid files you want that I should look for? I know where they are I just need to figure out which clip(s) it is that has the stuff you want.
