(no subject)
I've said it once, and i'm sure i'll say it again. Michigan weather has ADD.
It is freezing. It was 70+ two days ago and this morning I woke up to under 40 weather. I am not a fan. And me being stupid, left my window open a night ago, so my room very cold as they havn't turned the heat on yet.
As much as I complain about my job, I do really enjoy the people. They are fun. I kind of want The Rock to host some kind of dinner or get together. Maybe some kind of "I'm sorry for leaving most of you unemployed next semster," kind of thing. Because most of the time you start a conversation with someone, you have to end it quick because something needs to be refilled. It'd be nice to have a longer conversation.
The people above seem to think that jumping up and down and dropping things on their floor is a fun way to spend their time. We've been complaining to them sense the beginning of the year, and it has not stopped. And it's even us who go up and complain. I personally think that the first few times that you complain to someone else in a dorm setting, it should be you that complains. Not an R.A. At the very least you can come of as charming or pathatic (whichever fits you best), so maybe they would stop for that reason. Getting an R.A. right off that bat kind of seems rude to me. Anyway, we've gone up to them and complained, but it apparently hasn't worked, so I went and got Devonne, our R.A. And surprisingly I wasn't greeted by her when I knocked on her door, but her ex-boyfriend (who happens to work at the Rock), Jon. So i'm not quite sure when she's going to get the message of our annoyence, but I hope she does. The jumping must stop. And so must this ranting and rambling. I'll stop now
