Sometimes I wish that the entertainment business was more like high school and college shows. I wish the atmosphere was the same. Where its all about enjoying the people you're with and the material you have. Where everyone is working for the end result of the show being great, instead of everyone just looking out for their own.
The lead in our show loves music, and (in my opinion at least) is very talented, but he's not going into the music/theatre business just because he thinks its shady. It makes me wonder how many talented people are out there wanting to play their music, but don't want to because of a crooked business.
