Its the way the dice rolls!

This weekend was a big suprise to me come Thursday afternoon.  My original plans for this past weekend was to stay at school and work on homework/papers/projects all weekend long.  Come to my suprise, I didn't do much of it.

After my one and only class on Thursday, I checked my e-mail and noticed a message from my dad with the subject of summer employment.  I oppened it and it was asking me if I really wanted that job at my dad's work that I applyed to earlier.  It said that I needed to call this lady about setting up an appointment to take some intelligence tests.  I had no clue as to what type of tests these were.  I was thinking they might wanted a drug test or something since I had signed a paper says that I would give a drug test.  So I called the lady and set up this test for Friday in the afternoon(since my afternoon class was cancelled).  So thinking I wasn't going home this weekend, there I was driving home to take this test.  Meanwhile, Ashley Janssen had asked me earlier in the week if I wanted to go the Brewers game with them on Saturday - but since I thought I was going to be in Oshkosh all weekend - I wasn't going to be able to go.  Well that also changed since I was going home.

So this test I had to take.  What a waste of tests.  So it wasn't just one test - but 5!!!  4 of the tests I had 5 minutes to take(there were like 60 questions for each - let's just say, I hope they score them on how many I got right on how many I answered!  Seeing as I didn't finish 3 of the 4!)  There was one that was a math test.  NO calculator, no scratch paper, scantron sheets, #2 pencils, 60+ questions and only 5 minutes!!!  It was "easy" math - like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages of things.  Let's just say I didn't do so hot.  I think I answered like 25 question!  The other tests are hard to explain - so I wont even go there.  OH the last test was 101 questions about your personality.  Like "if one of your co-workers steals $25, I would tell someone.  a. strongly disagree 2. disagree.....4 agree...etc."  Other stupid questions like that.  It's like, do you want me to answer how I should answer, or what you want to know??  Let's just say I hope I get this job for other reasons than my test scores!!  The lady is calling later this week for an interview - I hope that atleast goes well.  Maybe it's back to the gas station I go!!!

Saturday I went to the Brewers game in Milwuakee with Ashley, Greg, Jake, Laura, Bill, and his girlfriend Erin.  Looks like I was the 7th wheel on this trip - oh well - I had fun without a significant other!  So the game started at 6, so what time did we leave DePere??  That's right - 10:30 AM!!  Ok lets take a look at this.  It takes about 2-2 1/2 hours from DePere, bringing us to the stadium around 12:30-1:00 - - for a 6 PM game!!!!  Well we were going to taligate too so we had to get there a little earlier.  The guys thought that gate to the parking lot opened 4 hours before the game - - but nope - it opened at 3.  So we got there, got our tickets, and sat in the van for an hour and a half in the parking lot waiting for other cars to come.  We would have started grilling out once we got there, but we didnt want to draw attention to us underagers drinking with no other cars around us!  Plus it was very cold and very windy with some rain here and there.  So came 3 PM and we started to tailgate.  Threw some burgers on the Keg-a-que(this grill looks like a mini keg - its awesome!!!) and had some drinks.  5 PM rolled around and we headed into the stadium.  This was my first time into Miller Park - its awesome!  I loved it.  Had a great time watching the game in the family section(no alcohol) and too bad the Brewers lost.  They almost came back from a 7 run deficeit.  Oh that's right - it went into extra innings - into 10 - - free baseball past the 9th inning!  yeah!  Well yeah the Beer Team lost, so we got out of there asap!  Finally got home around 1ish in the morning!  Man was I tired!!

Well that's enough for now.  Bed time!

Adios!
