I've been so worried about money lately. I still can't seem to find a job, and we keep having to borrow money from Brian's parents so that we can do crazy things like buy groceries or replace the battery in Brian's car. Also, my own car is still fucked up, so it's hard to look for a job, anyway

But, that's really good. Internships/volunteering is really the only way to get any job. Plus, companies LOOOVE volunteers/interns cuz they don't have to pay them. XD Of course, if you get a nice enough place, maybe they'll buy you lunch, like my place. I think they realize that you're sacrificing hours you could be working some other crappy job and getting a paycheck to get real life experience, etc etc. So, anyway, internships for sure. Plus, now that the new semester is starting, most of the summer interns will be gone, so you can probably find something pretty easily.
Anyway, I'm babbling, but yes. XD And awesome, museums are SUCH a good place to work. My mom loooved it. She was a curator, I believe. And then she moved on to working at various historical societies, which is also a way to go with a history degree, but you DEFINITELY need an MA (or even a PhD, which she has) for that. And yes, experience is really all places care about. It's the same for me. Good luck in your hunt!
