Author's Notes: Okay, let me know if this is sucky. 'Cause I've been writing fast and maybe it makes it suck? I don't know. And my writing is turning really sappy, not unlike the many Jim/Pam stories out there. Ugh. I'm embarrassed at the sweetness of it all. Please comment if it's okay?
He and Andy had been together for nearly a year now. A whole year, and he felt the same as he did in the beginning. He still craved Andy's touch after a long day at work. His heart still beat fast when their lips met. And he was still surprised at how the simple act of Andy kissing him on the cheek during break could make him feel so giddy and hopelessly in love.
Now he would wake up in the morning with the warmth and safety of Andy's arm around him, his light snoring tickling the back of Oscar's neck. Oscar always stayed still, careful not to wake him, reveling in the way Andy's fingers would flex on Oscar's stomach during a deep sleep, or how he'd shift so his nose was buried in the back of Oscar's T-shirt.
Sometimes he'd wake up to the smell of waffles, and before he could get up Andy would be back in bed with a breakfast tray. Oscar wasn't particularly fond of eating in bed, especially with Andy's tendency towards spillage. But it was too adorable a gesture to turn down. One time Andy even picked flowers for him. It was terribly corny, but he'd come to expect that kind of thing from him.
After they ate Andy would set the tray aside, sit facing Oscar and lean in. Oscar would close his eyes, explore the softness of Andy's lips and taste the sweet syrup on his tongue. Andy's fingers still had a way of burning through to his skin.
There wasn't much Oscar looked forward to more than mornings with Andy.
