Because all "great novels" must have a graphic novel adaptation... or something. I don't know.
Unlike Twilight's graphic novel adaptation, this wasn't done in that soft and fluffy manga-like style. Oh no, this is done in true serious business, grim 'n gritty art style like 300 and Sin City and stuff, with lots of dark shadows and black fills. Lots and lots of black fills.
And look at that! Apparently a dozen people worked on this, as I listed above. You know, as opposed to Twilight with Young Kim credited as the only other person involved besides Stephenie Meyer. Also, there's a bonus story added to this book. I guess I'll be ripping that apart too.
