Oh. My. God. Barack won.
OBAMA WON!!! WHOOOOOOO! And by a LANDSLIDE, too!
I am so excited to see this happen in my life. I am so excited to be a part of it. I feel galvanized and confident in America's ability to make a difference, to pull out of the nose dive we were entering and look forward to a brighter future. I am hopeful. I am fucking ecstatic to see someone in the highest office of American leadership that is intelligent, prudent, courteous, eloquent, balanced, discerning, charismatic, and diplomatic. I am overjoyed to look to a leader whom I can trust. I have never cried over politics (a self-disclosure I've heard many people state), but watching Obama's acceptance speech brought me to tears. I am just so happy to see someone in office that I am excited about, proud of, inspired by. My heart swells believing that this marks the beginning of a healing process, a long journey to mend the rift dividing Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives.
Fuck yes. HELLZ YES! What an amazing day. What a historical, momentous day.
W00T W00T W00T!!!
