It seems like I've been waiting forever for book two -- the amount of control authors have over this, btw, is in negative numbers -- but it's finally out and all three of the Smoke books are now available in ebook format.
Tony was always my favorite character, in both the Blood and Smoke books. I always wanted more of him and his adventures in wizardry. I was so disappointed when he wasn't included in the TV show.
If I recall correctly, in an interview back when the television series was on the air, andpuff indicated that the exclusion of Tony's character from Blood Ties the show was intentional, to try to leave an opening for him to have a T.V. series of his own. Maybe, had BT been kept on the air for as many seasons as we would've liked, his character would've turned up on it in a crossover spinoff launch episode (like J.A.G./N.C.I.S./N.C.I.S. L.A.), and then been able to appear in future crossover episodes with his own series. If only . . .
Oh geez, sorry to hear about the arm. :( Hope it heals well and smoothly! Been there done that, was upset about not playing my guitar for weeks on end!
These 3 are on my list of favorite books and I re-read them frequently. I think I may need to put them on my phone's Kindle so I can read them anywhere/anywhen!

I hope you don't mind my asking here, but I've been wondering, for a couple years now, if there will be more Valor books eventually. I haven't been able to find anything on your blog (which may be entirely the fault of my search skills) that says one way or the other.

You pretty much decided I wasn't going to answer this, hadn't you? Sorry about that.
I am currently working on a new Torin Kerr book. I can't call it a Valor book because, if you've read Truth, you know there were some major changes in her job description. Right now we're calling the series (hopefully at least three books) the Peacekeepers but we don't have title on book one yet.

Um. Yes, Tony has always been my hands-down favourite, too; and I have a ridiculous love for this series.

I understand your lack of control over e-publication but wonder if you have heard if _Valor's Choice_ will be available in e-format?
Oh, sorry to hear about your arm.
