Social Media Update
So, remember how every now and then I'd post here about how I don't have a facebook account?
And then remember how when I was in Milan I tweeted that I might have to get a facebook account when I got back so I could post my pictures (which are mostly buildings and possibly not very interesting to anyone but me) because mySpace is pretty much deserted these days and I hate the Lj gallery function?
As of a couple of days ago, I have a facebook account.
If you search for Tanya Huff and you find a profile picture of a woman in black pants and a lime green shirt standing in the castle courtyard in Milan, that's me. Some of you may recognise the shirt.
Don't worry, I've heard the "OMG, facebook got hacked AGAIN!" stories and there's nothing much personal up there that you can't find on Wikipedia. For example, the contact email is answered by a part-time employee of a holding company that works for a hedgefund that's based in Alpha Centuri. In other words, it won't get to me. I'll probably answer direct messages there as often as I answer messages here. Translation: best of intentions, bad follow through. (At least three of you are muttering, "No frickin' follow through at all." aren't you?
