Timaru is a magical land where the roads are paved with gold and delicious pies hang on trees!
That was my report to Kirk about my trip to Timaru to visit my dad and step mother. On arrival, I had a great pie made in a cafe near the railway station, and the next day, after searching for paints and the internet, I had a Jimmy's pie from a dairy on the road home.
They're so good, someone wrote a Master's about them: If it’s not a Jimmy's it's just a pie! A study that provides an introductory analysis regarding the feasibility for exporting Jimmy's Pies.
