Anyone who knows me well will know that I have long been a fan of Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell series (manga, anime movie, tv series, etc). Like, just about forever.

I finally got around to watching Texhnolyze, and I consider finishing it to have been quite a feat.

This season has truly been an odd one for episode numbering for some anime.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has ended at 14. Am loving all that I've seen of it so far, which isn't much. However crazy the episode ordering is, it's actually kind of fun to unscramble it for myself.

Happiness is the announcement that the following are to be made into anime:

1. Death Note (TWO live-action movies and an anime!)
2. Season 2 of Sousei No Aquarion
3. D-Gray Man, airing in Oct
4. Perfect Girl Evolution!!!! (cue: squeeing)

Not bad at all!

Contrary to the opinion of some quarters, Lady Death was not the most dire 'anime' that I have ever watched, but it was certainly the most clichéd. Almost every single line was replete with over-used Hollywood phraseology.
