THANKS YOU GUYS. I'm sorry for the whine!fest and everything YOU ARE ALL AWESOME AND SO, SO SWEET. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The not graduating thing sucks in many, many ways, especially because there isn't much more I could have been doing to prevent it. Also the fact that my only remaining motivation to write this last paper (which still isn't done) was the fact that it would be my last ever and now it's not. but. I'll live. I won't say I'm happy about it, or that i'm not upset, but I'm done.
So! Thank you all so much for your kinds words. ;kjlaf;jlkfa just. just thank you so, so much.

you know, if i'd quit after last year, I'd probably still like my alma mater.

On the upside, I don't have to worry about the things stress is doing to my face anymore, because I don't have to worry about looking pretty at graduation. :Dv?

does anyone else find rice remarkably unfilling? I might have to go get bread from the combini downstairs because i can't take it any longer.
eta: DDDDDDDD: the combini is closed!
I had tea yesterday morning for the first time in a long time. I really like tea.

i spent some time the other day searching Japanese websites to try and buy my host mother flowers for mother's day. I did eventually get flowers and it was good, but the thing is. I could read the websites. Which had formal forms and end-user agreements and stuff like that. But i can't remember how to write words like 「続く」 by hand. And I can't read simple newspaper articles (which is a lot of what we did in class) with Kaori-san. She's like, 'you understand everything if someone reads it to you, but you can't remember the kanji yourself.' i don't get it.

i feel like jamie's dept does a whole lot more hand-holding than the linguistics dept does. teachers hand out extensions all the time, and it seems like everyone has to go meet with the professors before they hand their work in. In the lx departent, you're lucky if you can the professor before the due date.

yesterday, i learned the slang term for 'cum' in spanish. i will never look at leche the same. I also learned how to say 'come on [someone's] face (and it was a bit of a surprise)'. Why don't they teach these things in the Japanese classes?

note to self: if it's sunny, go grocery shopping. don't put it off thinking it will just keep on being nice out.

edit: come on, ten pages baby. START LOOKING AT YOUR DATA. STOP PUTTING IT OFF IT WILL NOT GO AWAY IF YOU IGNORE IT.

watch me be vain, spanish, please let me live through this week, food, hoya saxa, commentfic, japanese, kaa-san-tachi, my god is an awesome god, bakanakoto, weather, ♥ILU FLIST, wow you suck, homework, commentspam gets its own tag now, school, unproductive is my tokugi
