I am hungry. Pizza with the roommate, whenever it happens to arrive.
So all the tech problems were solved by Zach (Zack?) last night, even if he is generally an asshole. The good thing about assholes is that I can be mean and not feel bad about it.
He also tried to fix the issues with our cable box. I told him that if he knocked out the cable before the end of Grey's, I might have to kill him, despite having saved my sanity with the computer. I have priorities, afterall.
talked to both sillyandmorbid and katrinastrife recently, which is always a treat. sillyandmorbid and I are trying to re-arrange our weekly phone date, because the original time just wasn't working for either of us.
mycroftnext tells me that I am M in terms of editing; but S in everything else.
It was a very rainy-looking Friday. Flew out the door this morningafternoon and forgot my umbrella. Of course it started to rain while I was at the bus stop. But then the bus came, and it was mostly done with it's little drizzle by the time I got to Rosslyn.
Walked back to Rosslyn on the way home because class let out early and i could.
Humid but breezy, pretty warm, but somehow the rest of the weather made it not feel so much.
And I 'made a friend' (in the 5-year-old sense) with a classmate today, which is always nice.
I went to a talk once about networking, and how it's really just talking to people so it shouldn't be scary (also that it's always best to go in just for the making human connections, not with trying to get something you want right off the bat. Who wants to be friends with someone who just wants to use you?). It was kind of like that. It was interesting and fun and she gave me movie recs. ^_^v
It will be a very work-ful weekend.
