Summer is here. It's reached that sad time of year when all of the plants start looking brown, the AC runs night and day, and I have to find new ways of keeping an active child happy without being able to spend much time outside. Upsides? Summer CSA, less laundry, DH isn't teaching classes so his schedule is more flexible.

Had a successful first meeting of my veggie playgroup. I found two vegetarian moms through API and one of them brought a vegetarian friend who has a kid. Ansel wasn't feeling social and he was napping in the Ergo for most of the event, but I feel so happy from the good company. Plus, we made it a vegan potluck so we had delicious food ( Read more... )
